Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a slow, deep practice that targets the hips and spine and helps to release and lengthen the body's deep connective tissues. Combining longer held Yin postures with yogic breathing helps to stimulate the meridian system, releasing energy blockages in the physical and emotional bodies. Yin yoga is a deeply meditative yet revitalizing practice, and is an excellent compliment to other styles of yoga.
Currently offered at New Thought Yoga in Apollo Beach, second Monday of every month, 6-7:15pm. *Begins September 10, 2012.
